Vladimir Wild Rift Build Recommendation

Here are Item Build Recommendations that works on this champion and which are the best build for Vladimir Wild Rift in this patch.

Bloodthirsty Fiend

Riftmaker Rabadon’s Deathcap Void Staff [This item has been removed from WR] Stasis Enchant Infinity Orb Liandry’s Torment

This item build for Vladimir Wild Rift consists of items that focus on Omnivamp and Magic Penetration. This build allows Vladimir to engage enemies while simultaneously dealing enormous amounts of damage and healing. Self-healing is very important for Vladimir, which is why Rift Maker is the first priority when using this build. Rift Maker provides Omnivamp to help Vladimir heal himself. Ionian Boots of Lucidity helps lower Vladimir’s high skill cooldowns. Void Staff provides more AP damage and Magic Penetration to increase his damage output further. Infinity Orb enables Vladimir to be more aggressive toward the enemies, giving Mobility, Magic Penetration, and Ability crits when they are low HP. Liandry’s Torment provides burn damage whenever an Ability hits an enemy.

The Barbarian God

Riftmaker Cosmic Drive Rabadon’s Deathcap Boots of Furor [This item has been removed from WR] Morellonomicon Horizon Focus

This Wild Rift Vladimir build for mainly focuses on dealing damage with great agility. On the other hand, Morellonomicon is great for Vladimir when opposing enemies with Lifesteal or Omnivamp, as it reduces enemy healing. Horizon Focus is also good for Vladimir, as landing Crowd Controls on enemies marks them, dealing damage.

Runes for Vladimir in Wild Rift

Phase Rush is the best Keystone for Vladimir in Wild Rift. It gives movement speed whenever three normal attacks or abilities hit enemies. By using regular attacks in between each ability, this is simple to trigger.

Hunter – Vampirism provides Omnivamp for Vladimir, which enables him to be more aggressive as it helps Vladimir heal himself more. On the other hand, Triumph provides a bit of extra damage when targeting enemies with low HP. This can help Vladimir finish evading enemies and heal him after execution.

Adaptive Carrapace is also useful for Vladimir as it provides resists depending on the damage type he received when his HP drops below 50%. It also provides an additional 50 HP. Moreover, Nullifying Orb provides a shield if your HP drops below 30%, giving Vladimir more survivability when receiving burst attacks.

Nimbus Cloak further increases Vladimir’s movement speed, enabling him to get into a better position. Sweet Tooth offers more sustainability by receiving more healing from honeyfruits, enabling him to stay in lane longer.

Spells

In our Vladimir Wild Rift Guide, here are his best champion spells that you can equip on him.

Wild Rift Flash

Having Flash is essential for Vladimir as it gives him the element of surprise to the enemy. Using Flash as the start of the engage leaves enemies off-guard which can result in a kill.

Wild Rift Ghost

Ghost is very essential for Vladimir because of his lack of mobility. Vladimir mainly suffers from closing the gap between enemies, so be sure to use Ghost as a second summoner spell.

Vladimir in Wild Rift can start by taking Transfusion first to access his Bloodthirst stacks, which can deal huge burst damage while having good sustainability in the early game. This is Vladimir’s bread and butter, so max out this skill first. Secondly, take his E ability, Tides of Blood. This can help Vladimir deal more damage while negating the HP loss from its ability cost. Thirdly, take his W ability, Sanguine Pool. With this unlocked, Vladimir can now access his typical and easy combo: Using Transfusion at the start of the fight, then holding and releasing his Tides of Blood while using Sanguine Pool. Vladimir can now complete his combo after taking his Ultimate, Hemoplague. Hemoplague is often used to finish off evading enemies, as it can deal a lot of burst damage. Take Hemoplague whenever there’s a chance to level it up.

Abilities

Infernal Chains

Every 30 points of bonus Health gives Vladimir 1 Ability Power, and every 1 point of Ability Power gives Vladimir 1.6 bonus Health (does not stack with itself).

Infernal Chains

Vladimir steals life from the target enemy. When Vladimir’s resource is full, Transfusion will benefit from massively increased damage and healing for a brief time.

Infernal Chains

Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood, becoming untargetable for 2 seconds. Additionally, enemies on the pool are slowed and Vladimir siphons life from them.

Infernal Chains

Vladimir pays his own health to charge up a reservoir of blood which, when released, deals damage in the area around him but can be blocked by enemy units.

Infernal Chains

Vladimir infects an area with a virulent plague. Affected enemies take increased damage for the duration. After a few seconds, Hemoplague deals magic damage to infected enemies and heals Vladimir for each enemy Champion hit.

Abilities Analysis

Innate Passive | Crimson Pact

Vladimir in Wild Rift should build items that focus on adding Health and Ability Power, as those two attributes benefit Vladimir’s stats.

Wild Rift Vladimir Crimson Pact

Q | Transfusion

Vladimir drains blood from the enemy, dealing magic damage while also healing from a portion of the damage dealt. After dealing damage with this skill, it will generate a stack of Bloodthirst. At max stacks, Transfusion will deal more significant damage at the cost of the whole stack of Bloodthirst. To fight with Vladimir, start with this ability to have a stack at the start of the fight immediately. Timing this skill with his Hemoplague, and Tides of Blood can deal a huge amount of burst damage that can surprise enemies.

Wild Rift Vladimir Transfusion

W | Sanguine Pool

Vladimir becomes a pool of blood and becomes untargettable. Enemies that are on top of the pool will receive damage while also healing Vladimir from a portion of the damage dealt. This skill is very beneficial when evading attacks or engaging enemies. Vladimir cannot use his basic attacks, but can still move freely in this form. Vladimir can also hold his third ability, Tides of Blood while in his pool form, leaving enemies with no room for escape.

Wild Rift Vladimir Sanguine Pool

E | Tides of Blood

The damage depends on how long his Tides of Blood is held. The longer you hold, the more damage it will do. Additionally, it will cost Vladimir a few health points when cast. With this in mind, you can pair it with his second skill, Sanguine Pool, for a higher chance of dealing significant damage, as minions and other living units can block his Tides of Blood while also compensating for the HP cost of this Ability. Vladimir can also use this ability to finish off evading enemies.

Wild Rift Vladimir Tides of Blood

R | Hemoplague

Vladimir lands an AoE on the ground. Enemies that are hit within that AoE will receive a timer that will later deal significant damage while also healing Vladimir from a portion of the damage dealt. Healing received from subsequent champions is reduced, meaning Vladimir can only heal a huge amount from the first targeted champion. Hemoplague can be used to finish off enemies together with his Tides of Blood and a full-stacked Transfusion.

Vladimir Early Game Guide

Vladimir’s early game relies on his timing with his Q ability, Transfusion. Using Transfusion when Bloodthirst is at full-stack is a must, as it can deal huge amounts of damage in the laning phase. Use Transfusion to last hit a minion to start accumulating Bloodthirst stacks, then charge up his E ability, Tides of Blood then use his W ability, Sanguine Pool, to further harass the enemy. Release his E ability at full charge, then finally use his Transfusion at max stacks. Although this combo can be useful in his laning phase, his cooldowns are very high, and poor execution can also lead to death, so be sure to use it wisely and efficiently.

Vladimir Late Game Guide

Vladimir is a monster in the late game because of his scaling. Having huge amounts of health, damage, and mobility is essential for team fights and tower dives. Vladimir is very useful because of his flanking potential and movement speed in the late game. Coordinate with your team as you flank the enemy to have a pincer-type attack, leaving no room for the enemies to escape.

Synergies

For our Vladimir Wild Rift Guide, we highly recommend using him with the following champions as they synergize well with him.

Wild Rift Kayn

Kayn’s damage output and crowd control with his W, Blade’s Reach, is a great setup when ganking Vladimir’s lane. This enables Vladimir to do a full combo on the enemy.

Xin Zhao is also great for ganking Vladimir’s lane. Audacious Charge’s dash ability closes the gap to use Three Talon Strike on the opposing enemy, which knocks them up while enabling Vladimir’s combo.

All Vladimir Wild Rift Counter Champions

In this section, we’ll specifically show champions that can easily counter Vladimir in Wild Rift.

Vladimir in Wild Rift is bad against Pantheon. Pantheon has great poking ability with his Q ability, Comet Spear. This poke can negate the healing that Vladimir receives from his Transfusion. Also, keep in mind that Pantheon also has the ability to block any incoming damage with his E ability, Aegis Assault. Pantheon can time this ability to block burst damage coming from Vladimir.

Seraphine is one of the best champions to counter Vladimir. Seraphine’s ability to poke Vladimir without ever taking any risks. She can also have access to Morellonomicon, which can decrease Vladimir’s healing, resulting in Seraphine’s out-sustaining Vladimir.
