Rammus is the greatest counter against ADC auto-attackers and one of his greatest strengths is his roaming capabilities, which is sadly useless on ARAM. Even so, Rammus can still scale into one of the toughest enemies of ADCs if given the opportunity to do so. Beware though, he is extremely weak against AP-type champions. In ARAM, his greatest strength is his ultimate, Soaring Slam that deals damage and slows in an area. Plus, his 3rd ability, Frenzying Taunt is a death sentence to anyone who is not using Mercury’s Treads.
Rammus Build Recommendation in Wild Rift
Here are Item Build Recommedations that works on Rammus in Wild Rift ARAM Mode.
The build for Rammus is pretty standard, Thornmail and Sunfire Aegis that make him deal so much damage just by being present in fights are still his core items. Warmog’s Armor is the only addition to his core item as the bonus regeneration from staying out of battle is pretty overpowered in ARAM and it will allow him to force fights often.
If you have another tank, you can build Rammus with AP items to make him deal so much damage. Hextech Gunblade and Crystalline Reflector will allow Rammus to deal damage and heal himself at the same time and Nashor’s Tooth synergizes with the bonus attack speed that his 3rd ability, Frenzying Taunt provides.
- Aftershock is the standard rune on Rammus because it allows him to survive his initiation attempts and the bonus armor scales his 2nd ability, Defensive Ball Curl’s damage. If you’re playing the AP build, you can use Conqueror to ramp up the damage of your auto-attacks.
- Gathering Storm allows you to be a late game monster with its increasing AP bonus that scales with time.
- Conditioning is the defense version of Gathering Storm. You scale with armor and Rammus has horrible magic resist scaling and Conditioning addresses both of those.
- Hunter – Genius will help you use your abilities more often thanks to its bonus ability haste per unique takedown.
Mark/Dash has great synergy with Rammu’s 1st ability, Powerball. You can activate Powerball then use Dash to get near your target and surely stun them, even with all their allies and minions around them.
Flash is a great and reliable way to initiate or escape fights.
