New Champions for Wild Rift Patch 5.0
The Wild Rift 5.0 will bring three new exciting champions, including a champion that parkours through walls, perfect for assassinating targets.

New Gamemode and Event for Wild Rift Patch 5.0
Wild Rift Patch 5.0 has revealed a URF hybrid game mode called Double Cast. It enables champions to cast their abilities twice, doubling the fun for anyone who plays this game mode. But that’s not all; champions who primarily deal damage with their auto attacks will not be left behind, as shown in the preview. After several attacks, their next auto will count as a double hit, applying all of the effects of the next normal attack twice.
In the latest Wild Rift Patch, there’s also a new event releasing soon. Lunar New Year is just around the corner, so buckle up for some new Wild Rift content soon. This event rewards players with tons of Dragon Lantern skins and more, so keep your red envelopes ready.
Champion Reworks for Wild Rift Patch 5.0
Wild Rift Patch 5.0 has revealed new sets of champion reworks. Aurelion Sol, Gragas, Yuumi, and Wukong are the ones who are getting an overhaul. These reworks focus on smoother gameplay and adjustments to fit the meta.
Aurelion Sol
The rework on Aurelion Sol is similar to the LoL PC. Thanks to his new passive, this champion will now be able to scale to the late game better. Aurelion Sol will now have a larger area of effect skills as the game progresses, like the star destroyer he’s meant to be.
Gragas
Gragas’s rework focuses on smoother animations in his gameplay. This champion might look rough on the outside, but after this overhaul, he’ll eliminate champions as smooth as the ale he’s drinking.
Yuumi
Wild Rift Patch 5.0 has also tweaked Yuumi’s abilities, improving the consistency of her supporting capabilities. The patch also emphasizes how Yuumi supports her allies, alone or with an ally.
Wukong
Wukong’s rework focuses on survivability and the effectiveness of his clones. His clones will now be able to mirror Wukong’s abilities to overwhelm his opponents. In addition, he can now tank a bit more damage to stay in the lane longer.
New Gameplay Changes in Wild Rift 5.0

Siege Minion Changes
This Wild Rift patch has changed the effectiveness of ganking other lanes. New, slightly weaker minions will now replace siege minions. This change will enable roaming champions to visit other lanes freely without the worry of getting pushed by the help of siege minions.
Rift Herald
Activating Rift Herald has also had problems, such as attacking the closest minions instead of the turret itself. But now, the new Wild Rift Patch has changed that, and it will target the nearest turret first while also indicating which lane it will be attacking in the mini-map.

The second Wild Pass Exclusive Skin is Black Frost Renekton, coming into Wild Rift Patch 4.4. This skin has brought a different approach to Renekton, leaving the hot sands of Shurima to join the Black Frost Army.
