One of the critical aspects of Wild Rift is its ranking system, which allows players to progress and compete against others of similar skill levels. However, when you are a solo queue player just starting Wild Rift, you may wonder what the Wild Rift ranks are. What Are Wild Rift Ranks?

Wild Rift Ranks are designed to provide a fair and balanced gameplay experience for all players. Each rank, except for Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger, is divided into four divisions: IV, III, II, and I, in ascending order. To rank up, players need to earn ranked marks by winning ranked mode games. Once they have enough ranked marks, they must complete a promotion series to advance to the subsequent division or tier.

All Wild Rift Ranks

In Wild Rift ranked mode, there are currently 11 ranks:

• Iron
• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold
• Platinum
• Emerald
• Diamond

You can access Ranked from level 10 and no minimum champion is required.

Iron, the Lowest of Wild Rift Ranks

Bronze Rank

Bronze players have a better understanding of the game mechanics than Iron players, but they may still need help applying them consistently in matches. These players often make mistakes such as overextending, not warding enough, and not communicating with their team.

Silver Rank

Silver players have a good understanding of the game mechanics and can typically apply them consistently in matches. However, they may still need to correct some things, such as incorrect positioning or not drafting the best team composition. Gold Rank

Gold players are good players with a deeper understanding of the game mechanics than the lower WR ranks. Platinum Rank

Emerald Rank

Diamond Rank

Diamond players are the top 0.2% of players in Wild Rift. They are the most skilled players in the game and can win matches against even the best opponents consistently. One thing to get to higher Wild Rift ranks in this elo is to watch professionals play.

Master Rank

Master players are the top 0.01% of players in Wild Rift. They are the best players and can win matches against any opponent. It is also where players start to show an elite understanding of the game mechanics and can apply them consistently in matches at a very high level.

Grandmaster Rank

Grandmaster players are the top 50 players in each region. They are the most elite players in the game and are able to win matches against any opponent. However, to reach Grandmaster, you need to earn enough Ranked Marks. Ranked Marks are awarded for winning ranked matches and are deducted for losing ranked matches.

Challenger Rank

Challenger players are at the top in each region but still below the Sovereign Rank. They are also the absolute best players in Wild Rift and can win matches against any opponent. Players can reach the Challenger rank by earning enough Victory Points. These are awarded for winning ranked matches and are deducted for losing ranked matches. Players must maintain several Victory Points to stay in the Challenger rank.

Sovereign, the Highest Among Wild Rift Ranks

Sovereign is the highest rank in Wild Rift, above Challenger. It was added in Season 10 to provide a more challenging goal for the top players in the game. To reach Sovereign, players must earn 100 Ranked Marks in Challenger. Once they reach Sovereign, their Ranked Marks will continue to increase, and they will compete on a regional leaderboard that resets once daily.

How Do I Find My Riot ID?

Finding your Riot ID before your Wild Rift change name is also essential. Your Riot ID is your global username across all Riot Games titles. If you change your Riot ID in Wild Rift, it will also be altered in League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and any other Riot Games titles you play. 

Here are the steps for finding your Riot ID in-game.

• Launch Wild Rift
• Click your profile at the top left-hand of the home screen.
• You can see your Riot ID at the top left-hand, above your profile icon in your Wild Rift profile.

How to Change Name in Wild Rift?

New Gamemode and Anniversary Event for Wild Rift Patch 4.4

In the latest patch, the developers listen to players’ requests as they release the much-awaited Arena game mode. This new game mode features an arena combat style where you and your friend fight against three other teams. In Wild Rift Patch 4.4, Sona will be one of the champions getting a rework. Until this patch, Sona has a low pick and win rate relative to her peer supports. So, in patch 4.4, she will have more playmaking ability. Moreover, Ziggs is also having a rework in this patch, improving the quality of life regarding gameplay.

Sona

Sona’s passive and ultimate ability will be having a change in this patch. Her passive will change to stun when doing a normal attack after three ability casts instead of only having additional damage. Sona’s ultimate will no longer be a quick single-wave crowd control. Rather, it will be an AoE crowd control that moves and lasts for a few seconds.

Ziggs

In Wild Rift 4.4, Ziggs will also have a rework. As a champion who relies primarily on skill shots, an increase in aim assistance is quite beneficial. Additionally, Ziggs passive will also have a rework, now targeting turrets.

New Gameplay Changes in Wild Rift 4.4

Wild Rift Patch 4.4 will have changes to the Spell animations, Mages’ base stats, and brand-new items. The whole change is greatly influenced by how mages are greatly out scaled. Additional Dragon buffs will also come into the patch with a new cute companion and more.

Mages’ Base Stats Change

Mages in previous Wild Rift patches were difficult to play because of their scaling issues. So, in this patch, Mages have increased base stats, allowing them to skirmish in the lane better.

Snappy Spell Animations

In Wild Rift Version 4.4, spell animations or skill casts will now be more snappy and easy to land. Your favorite combos will now become even more fluid while also helping your skill shots make it easier to land.

New Items in Wild Rift Patch 4.4

WR patch 4.4 will also add more items to the Mages’ role, having new possibilities for building champions. Oceanid’s Trident, one of the latest featured items, is similar to Serpent Fang, which slows enemies while also reducing their shield.

Additional Dragon Buffs

The latest Wild Rift patch will also introduce an additional dragon buff, depending on the type of dragon your team has slain. Players can receive this extra buff by slaying three dragons throughout the game.

New Companion in Wild Rift Patch 4.4

Players can now equip their champion with a cute little companion in Wild Rift Patch 4.4. However, this companion will accompany them only through the laning phase and will not interfere with players’ gameplay.

New Ranked Season for Wild Rift Patch 4.4

New Event for Wild Rift Patch 4.3

The much-awaited event features one-versus-one combat, the Soul Fighter tournament. Unleash your dueling prowess and take over the Soul Fighter tournament. This limited-time game mode combines ARAM and Ultimate Spell Book in a 1v1 scenario. It also comes with a new minigame and new stories.

Champion Reworks

Playing Wild Rift, especially on mobile devices, has some limitations regarding the quality of its gameplay. In this patch, these champion reworks focus on how to make the gameplay of the following champions more consistent and enjoyable to play.

Janna

Her rework mainly focuses on her Q, which needs double-tapping to release quickly, and her Ultimate, which players accidentally cancel.

Annie

Annie’s interaction with Tibbers, her Ultimate, will be the main focus of her rework, emphasizing the power of Tibbers over her opponents.

New Runes

The upcoming patch has an overhaul for the runes system, starting with 11 new runes and some adjustments to the existing ones. Additionally, keystones are no longer bound to specific rune paths. These adjustments bring a whole unique combination to spice up your rune builds.

New Boot Enchant and Support Item Reworks for Wild Rift Patch 4.3

For this patch, they will be reworking support items like past updates and new boot enchants while reworking some existing ones.

Gameplay Changes

Vision changes involving Scryer’s Bloom and a cute little poro. Scryer’s Bloom can no longer be aimed in a specific direction. Moreover, when enemies have pushed a friendly tower, it will spawn a poro that serves as a vision in the jungle. 

There is also the new comeback mechanic that rewards the team that is behind with bonus gold when pushing/destroying enemy structures.

New Rank Season for Wild Rift Patch 4.3

A new patch means a new season, right? Well, get your season rewards first. The season reward for the past patch will be a Glorious Basilisk Jarvan IV. Wild Rift will also introduce a new rank above Challenger in this new season. The Legendary Rank also receives some changes, including entry requirements, new rewards, and quality of life changes.

The Wild Pass for the upcoming patch will be double, which means two Wild Pass skins. These are Dream Raider Thresh and Food Spirits Yuumi.

Introducing the Ice Dragon

We have seen Ocean, Cloud, Infernal, Mountain and the Elder Dragon, but have you ever heard of the Ice Dragon? For the first time ever, players are about to encounter the cold Ice Dragon inside the rift.

When killed, Ice Dragon provides ability haste to the team.

Also, just like with any other dragon, if it is the first dragon to be captured, Summoner Rift will take a new form. Ice will begin to accumulate and take over terrains. When champions pass through the ice, their movement speed will drastically increase.

Lastly, slaying the Ice Dragon will allow the new frozen fruit to be summoned. Attacking the fruit will launch an icy projectile that will put the target into a frozen state, quite similar to stasis. During the duration, champions who are under this effect will be untargetable and invulnerable.

New Items for Wild Rift Patch 4.2

This time around, marksmen are going to receive some love with the new ADC items. This allows ADC players to be given more option to dominate their lane with the new items.

Immortal Shieldbow

When you take damage that would reduce your health below a certain threshold, you’ll gain a shield to absorb some of the incoming damage.

Collector

If you deal damage to an enemy that leaves them below a certain threshold, you’ll execute them and gain some additional gold.

Quality of Life Changes for Wild Rift Patch 4.2

The new Playhem Patch brings forth several ways to customize Wild Rift according to your liking. Following the Gallery Skin feature that was introduced in the previous patch, players will be able to get a special reward upon completing a whole skinline. Additionally, changing the buttons in-game is now possible for a more convenient experience inside the rift.

Seasons Stats

The brand new stat system will now showcase your stats throughout the season. This includes your champion winrates, pentakills and more.

Wild Pass for Wild Rift Patch 4.2

A brand new skin thematic is coming our way and this time around, we’ll be receiving Ahri. Complete Wild Pass in order to get your hands on the Food Spirit Ahri. Her ascended version on the other hand can be obtained through the Wild Pass Emporium.

In a preview made this March 2nd, a lot of things have been revealed to add more spice to players’ gameplay inside the Summoner’s Rift. Tanks are surely getting some love this patch with the brand new tank items and item reworks giving them more options to dominate the game and become essentially unkillable. Ultimately, two new champions; Urgot and Twitch are also on their way as an addition to the current roster. So, without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about the new Wild Rift Patch 4.1, along with new champions, new items, new skins, Wild Pass and more. 

New Champions for Wild Rift Patch 4.1

Urgot, The Dreadnought

New Tank Items and Item Reworks for Wild Rift Patch 4.1

For the new Patch 4.1, three new tank items are set to arrive which may probably cause a great shift to the current meta. 

• Amaranth Twin Guard: This item provides stacks of endurance when you’re up against enemy champions. Gaining full stack grants size, armor, tenacity and magic resist, which will end after leaving combat.
• Mantle of the Twelfth Hour: After dropping HP and reaching the threshold, the wielder heals himself based on bonus health. Slow resistance and movement speed are also given during its uptime. 
• Searing Crown: Attacks or abilities applied inflict burn to the enemies based on max health. To top it off, Searing Crown works well with Sunfire Cape. 

Aside from these three, we’re also getting new Item reworks in hopes of making it more viable this time around. Be sure to try them out as soon as it’s out.

Wild Rift Account Leveling System

Reaching Level 40 in League of Legends: Wild Rift will bring so much more after the update. Hitting level 40 unlocks a Prestige level system in which players will receive stars after leveling up. As you progress and increase your level, your star will continue to accumulate and you’ll get to show it off with your friends. 

Glorious Skin for Season 9

Time to say goodbye to the Glorious Crimson skinline and say hello to Glorious Armada Twisted Fate. Interestingly, this particular skin has gained attention from the community due to this resemblance with Jotaro Kujo from Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure. Hop into ranked games and obtain victories to get your hands on the new Glorious skin. And with enough points, you can head to the Ranked Store and equip Weapon Augment on him. 

Wild Rift Ranked Changes for Season 9

In the upcoming season, gaining 40 marks becomes the new requirement to be promoted to Grandmaster and will retain throughout the whole season. Reaching the top, Challenger on the other hand will now need at least 60 marks.  

Wild Pass for Season 9

Superhero Vi swoops in at the end of the Wild Pass; complete with flaming gauntlets and a cool secret identity.
