Riot Games, The publisher of League of Legends: Wild Rift has teamed up with Nerd Street and Wisdom Gaming to deliver a $100,000 NA Regional Championship – Wild Rift: Summoner Series!

Teams will have multiple chances to qualify for the Major tournaments that feature a $10,000 prize pool depending upon ranking in the open qualifiers. Open qualifiers feature 32 teams that will battle it out for the 08 Major teams, who will later gain the opportunity to secure their spot in the Championship Finals.

Riot Games, The publisher of League of Legends: Wild Rift have finally conveyed what’s in their pipeline for esports. Leo Faria, the Head of Wild Rift esports shared his vision and plans for the future of the game’s competitive ecosystem.

His major statements being

“We’re building a new esports ecosystem that is self-sustaining and independent of LoL Esports on PC. We’re going all-in on Wild Rift Esports and aspire to make Wild Rift the first truly global mobile esports”.

The team knows that most of the Wild Rift audience have their phones as their primary or sole device, and esports is not optimized to be watched on small screens even though over 40% of viewers do so. Taking this into consideration, they are optimizing esports on phones for an overall better experience. Riot have just started by focusing the efforts on Wild Rift at the professional level, And organizations need to trust that there will be tournaments to play in and that Wild Rift esports is here to stay.

Last but not least, He stated that mobile esports is a new venture for them, yet they’re confident and have a strong vision, It will take time to get there. But it’s just the start.

There are many regional and local esports series going on for Wild Rift players, But the most notable one is the new Riot Games official League of Legends: Wild Rift tournament! Namely, Wild Rift Origin Series, where interested players can Sign up for League of Legends: Wild Rift’s intercontinental esports circuit: A fiery competition showcasing the best teams from Europe, Turkey, CIS, the Middle East, and North Africa with a total Prizepool of € 300,000.

  • Monthly Qualifiers: This Series is for all players from Europe, Turkey, CIS, the Middle East, and North Africa and will run monthly with qualifiers taking place in the early stages of the coming months.
  • Monthly Finals: This is where the top 16 teams will battle it out to rack up points, prize money, and most importantly: bragging rights!
  • Finals: The offline final will host the top teams from across all groups and Only one will be victorious.
